Rachel Ellis, LCSW, SAC-IT

Do you find yourself numbing because life feels too overwhelming? Or maybe you're using alcohol or other substances to cope with stress more than you'd like? If so, you are not alone! We can work together to identify areas of stress and anxiety and process past traumas that are standing in your way of living the life you want. Together, we can create new habits and work to remove the barriers that are standing in the way of where you want to go.

I believe in being authentic, transparent, and bringing humor to the therapeutic relationship and use techniques centered in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), narrative therapy, and Motivational Interviewing (MI). Using a client-centered approach, we'll make a plan of what YOU want to work on, and then break it down into manageable steps to get you there

Taking the step to begin therapy is very vulnerable and I would be honored to help you in your journey towards making the changes you are looking for. You have many strengths and I'd love to help you find and use them to help make life feel less overwhelming and more fulfilling.
